pidol's greatest movies

in memory of mang pidol, i came up with the list of (in my personal opinion) movies he had done in his showbiz career that i have actually watched.

this saddening news is not after all sudden but has been unhappily expected for the past few days already since the king of comedy was confined in the hospital for several weeks since June

the news that dolphy died due to multiple organ failure and pneumonia just a few hours (8:34 pm) ago came from zsa-zsa padilla who sent an sms to willie revillame while the latter show will time big time was still on air.

truly the showbiz industry will never be the same. he was our john purontong, mang kevin or mang cosme - depending on what generation you belong.

tom cruise and katie holmes divorce

i simply do not care (not that they care also) whenever a showbiz couples came to finally call it quits. for a reason or two, some found their incompatibilities only after tying the knot. and some got married for movie promotion only. and yes, in some worst case scenario, divorce could be the best solution rather than staying in a marriage that meant to be a circus act.

jessica sanchez is a pure talent - not just pinoy. oh please!

this brought goosebumps. eliminated (almost) and then saved - jessica sanchez must have felt a little crazy inside about these whole charade.

she is now heavily recognized as filipino talent - not america's talent. that being said, her chance and likelihood of winning this talent search is almost gone. being saved even, IMO, brought a little negativity for her.

she is a great talent - not because she is a filipino but because she is talented.

they say that Pearl Jam's version was and is a cover of great song back in 1960's. So that great band brought me to - 

wayne Cochran. The original singer of the "Last Kiss" released in 1962. I've read somewhere that the his version sucks. IMO, it was just right for the era. It was his anyway so no matter how great the cover, the original will always be the original.

what was not expected were the comments in this music vid that kept me laughing for hours and and litererally woke me and made me blog about "the hair", err i mean the man. here they goes:

dahil pinanood ko kanto boys kagabi, na miss ko si miggy montenegro so i chose to listen to sarah g's "a very special love" not knowing that my feelings for this person would be rekindle since "tabing ilog" days and i was only "teen" something then. hindi ko na nga remember sa tagal na nag pagmamahal na to. dati eds and rovic so laida and miggy na ako ngayon.

at my age of 35 years old. ang landi davah?!

wag nyo akong sisihin. ako hindi ko talaga sya kinaya sa pitsur na to. i love you john lloyd. nag sorry na ako sa house husband ko. iilang lalaki lang ang sinabihan ko ng i love you na may kasamang malaswang pagnanasa at aching down there. lol. char!

kaya never akong nagalit ke ruffa of falling for him, ke shaina, ke liz uy, ke ciara. wala silang kasalanan. naging sobrang gwapo lang si jlc.

so after all these years, my beloved natalies version of the song torn which was released  in 1997 was in fact just a cover of the song of ednaswap. anyway, i still love her - style, hair and all about her.

if i can bring my shower to the stage, guess i would stand a chance for american idol. lol! it was always my dream to be an entertainer. remember emulating vilma santos hosting styles including "i love you lucky". bwahahaha. then mudra would coach me singing "yellow ribbon" - whoa, that was where my progress as an entertaniner stopped.

i said i would hibernate and stop blogging etc but can't help it. oh well. i don't spend too much thinking what to blog anyway so i guess it's no harm letting my thoughts flow.

was chatting with family last night while searching for songs aside from "somebody that i used to love" and "cameo lover" to listen to. thought i might listen to jessica sanchez again coz heard from bff that she used to be a contender in america's got talent.

got to listen to her sings. talent she has that but for me, not an "american idol"-ish talent. you know what i mean? can't help comparing her to my all time fave kelly clarkson who has the "it" but then can also belt and etc.

then i discovered the best singer of all time!
